Antelope Valley Drainage Fee Increase
The first Antelope Valley fee increase in 19 years was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on October 31, 2006. The fees will be phased in as follows:

A condition upon each developer within the unincorporated Antelope Valley will be as follows: "The subdivider shall be required to pay the County a cash fee for the purpose of contribution to the proposed regional drainage improvements in the Antelope Valley. The fee is to be based upon the fee rate in effect at the time of recordation. The current fees are according to the following schedule and are subject to change: $7,208 per lot (single-family residential), $3,606 per unit (condos and apartments) and $36,027 per acre (commercial, manufacturing, or industrial)."
