Daily:
Covering the swimming pool when not in use, reduces the amount of water needed by 30-50 percent
Filling the bathtub halfway or less, saves 12 gallons of water per person.
Using a broom to clean outdoor areas, saves 8-18 gallons of water per minute
Taking five-minute showers instead of 10 minute showers, saves 12.5 gallons with a water efficient showerhead
Running the dishwasher when full instead of hall full, saves 5-15 gallons of water per load
Washing full loads of clothes, instead of half loads, saves 15-45 gallons of water per load
Turn the sink faucet on only to rinse when washing dishes, this will save about 2.5 gallons of water for every minute your faucet does not run.

Plant drought tolerant resistant trees and plants save 30-60 gallons per 1,000 square feet each time you water
Installing a drip-irrigation system, saves 15 gallons each time you water
Installing a “smart” controller saves 24+ gallons per day
Installing an aerator on bathroom faucets, save 1.2 gallons per person per day
