Program Environmental Impact Report

The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works Waterworks District 40 (LACWWD40) as the Lead Agency has prepared this Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) in consultation with the following Responsible Agencies: the City of Lancaster, the City of Palmdale, the Rosamond Community Services District, the County Sanitation Districts Nos. 14 and 20 of Los Angeles County, Palmdale Water District, Antelope Valley-East Kern Water Agency, and Quartz Hill Water District. This Draft PEIR has been prepared pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to provide information about the potential effects on the local and regional environment associated with the North Los Angeles/Kern County Regional Recycled Water Project. LACWWD40 has established a 60-day review period that begins August 5, 2008 and ends October 3, 2008.
