Easterly side of Rio Hondo southerly from Southern Pacific R. R. (south of Whittier Blvd.) to Slauson Ave; west side of side of Rio Hondo Channel from 0.2 miles above Whittier Blvd. South to Foster Bridge Blvd.
SOURCE OF WATER:
Controlled releases from San Gabriel Canyon Dams, Santa Fe and Whittier Narrows Dam. Uncontrolled runoff via San Gabriel River, Rio Hondo Channel and their tributaries. Also imported and reclaimed water.
REMARKS:
In cooperation with the U.S Army Corps of Engineers. Public Works operates 1,200 A.F. pool at Whittier Narrows Dam for retention of storm water.
