Virtual Tour of Dominguez Channel (cont.)

A large tributary meets the Dominguez Channel at Victoria Park in the City of Carson.	The Torrance/Carson Lateral flows into the Dominguez Channel near the San Diego Freeway just south of Del Amo Boulevard.
In its lower reach, the channel's cross section is trapezoidal with riprap sides and a compacted clay base.	Near the Los Angeles Harbor, the channel flows by several large oil refineries.
The Dominguez Channel empties into the Consolidated Slip of the Los Angeles Harbor just south of Anaheim Street.
